Moodboard: Ada Wong

I honestly suck at making moodboards but I had a lot of fun with these! Some minor elaborations below, as usual, going from top to bottom, left to right!

Animal

An obvious pick, but a suitable one nonetheless! Butterflies represent transformation, resurrection, endurance, and hope; all of which we see Ada experiencing (or providing for others!) during her appearances in-game. Especially highlighted in Separate Ways (2023), Ada is undergoing a metamorphosis, a transformation; her time in Raccoon City with Leon Kennedy changed everything, and has her questioning her ability (or desire) to remain "professionally neutral" towards the events that Wesker is expediting with every move he makes. She has endured many hardships both in her checkered past and ever-mysterious present, but is slowly allowing herself to trade in her cynicism for hope of a better future, taking control of her own destiny in a brand new way.

Season

Ada enjoys rainy summer evenings, when the air is crisp and only enough humidity to keep her bones warm. She likes being able to observe nature from inside a nice hotel room or in one of her (or Wesker's!) safehouses, unwinding and listening to the wind and light rain with some good food and the quiet drone of a television show in the background. Ada loves her alone time, existing independently from anyone and everyone so that she can recharge and keep herself sharp!

Food

Ada doesn't like to cook (that's what Wesker is for!), but she loves a good meal. She enjoys when effort is put into the presentation, too! In a ship template I filled out, I say that I think she enjoys quick and easy bites when she's traveling, but generally speaking she favors small shops and restaurants; she knows all of the best underground spots that won't be on any travel recommendation website, that's for sure! She's down to try anything but she knows what she likes, and enjoys hearty staples that keep her full for a long time.

Movie

Despite her "flat" way of speaking, Ada has a great sense of humor. She's dry, sarcastic and whip-smart with her quips and comebacks no matter who she's speaking to! Perhaps she would enjoy movies similar to The Sting, a story about a small-time grifter who [unknowingly] steals from a fearsome crime boss, and enlists the help of one of the crime boss's own agents to aid him in a hit that would definitely give the crime boss a run for his money! Perhaps a little ironic, given her current business relationship with Wesker... wink! She likes well-placed comedy in what would be otherwise dramatic/serious situations and doesn't mind a touch of morbidity either!

Plant

The cardinal flower is regal and colored in a gorgeous shade of red! Brightly blooming amidst wet, dark climates, I think this flower perfectly suits Ada. They are versatile, adaptable, and absolutely a head-turner! Distinction, elegance, and beauty are all traits that suit Agent Wong very well!

Color

Red is absolutely Ada's color, in all hues! She likes it best paired with gold, in fabrics like silk or velvet, and with some black mixed in, too! Maybe white if she's feeling unpredictable. I think she enjoys just about anything except for pastels! Her wardrobe is sleek and full of staple pieces that can be worn in lots of ways; when dressed casually, Ada veers towards techwear, cyber, or nu-goth fashion!

Career

Powerful people are nothing without those doing work in the shadows. Ada is red death to her enemies, and a benevolent guardian angel to those unaware of her presence. It's easier to play the bad guy, but she prefers doing all of her charity work unseen by any of its benefactors!

Place

I think her ideal place is in a nice high rise somewhere, looking down on a bustling city. She loves activity and commotion and likes to be able to be present, but also isolated. Ever on the go, she'll always spring for a nice hotel suite (if she's not put up in one by default) with all of the amenities that she enjoys. Ada is a light traveler, so it's nice to have what she enjoys waiting for her in her newest temporary lodgings... a sleek hotel room or condo where she can go on the balcony and observe the world below her is her favorite place to be while she has some alone time... or when she occasionally summons a couple of certain confidantes to enjoy the evening with!
